WARREN KLAUSNER, D.O.
Dr. Klausner is originally from New York City
and began his career in the business world after
attending the Wharton Business School of the
University of Pennsylvania. Unfulfilled in a business career, he embarked on a journey of self-discovery, culminating in a second career in osteopathic medicine.
He completed his premed course work at the
Claremont Colleges in California, including a senior
thesis on osteopathic medicine. He then attended
medical school at the Western University of Health
Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the
Pacific.
He was awarded a teaching fellowship
and stayed an extra year to conduct research, do
advanced training, and teach osteopathy.
Graduating in 1994, he next completed three years
of additional postgraduate residency training at
Downey Community hospital in California and was
board-certified in Family Practice specialty medicine
in 1997.
He began his private practice as a traditional
osteopath in 1995 during his residency and
continues in private practice today.
Functional medicine became an integral part of his
osteopathic practice in part because Dr. Klausner
used this branch of medicine as part of his own
healing process, experiencing how depletion of vital
nutrients can make
it difficult for one’s body to hold treatment and heal
to one’s full potential.
